Function: RDIO400 is an interface module between serial process bus (SPBus) and digital input or output signals. It provides a cost-effective solution for connecting any number of inputs and outputs to Kongsberg maritime automation systems, regardless of the distance between the remote device and the controller computer.
Input/Output:
Up to 32 independently defined digital input or output channels.
Digital input: The loop voltage is 24 VDC ± 20%, the maximum input voltage is equal to the loop voltage, and the input signal frequency can reach 10 millisecond pulses.
Digital output: The loop voltage is also 24 VDC ± 20%, the loop driver is 1 A, and the short-circuit high voltage side driver (HSD) is protected.
SPBus interface:
Dual serial process bus (SPBus) interface, allowing optional redundancy.
Each SPBus interface ensures electrical isolation from the control system.
